Each child is one caring adult away from being a success story! Providing a home, community and services where youth can achieve their human potential and thrive in their communities is a ministry calling.

By the time children come to Board of Child Care, their developing minds have been hijacked by numerous placements, a disruptive childhood leaving emotional traumatized unregulated behaviors. They long for childhood normalcy: a foundation to celebrate birthdays, holidays, proms and graduations. Some require specialized medical care, behavioral treatments, and intensive educational coaching. As with many government programs, reimbursements are simply not enough to cover actual costs. The growing need to serve youth, their families, and communities emotionally, physically and intellectually stands in constant financial support.
